Shooting victim's family says he texted girlfriend moments before his death DENVER (KDVR) — A family mourns the loss of Richard "Richie" Lovato, who was killed in a shooting Monday night.Lovato's relatives talked about who he was and what they say led up to his death."Richie was a very happy, loving young man who cared deeply about his family. and we just really miss him," Kimberly Lovato said.Kimberly Lovato is Richie's aunt. She spoke with FOX31 from her home in Pueblo."Richie is more like a son to me than my nephew," she said. "I've been so close to him." French Bulldog stolen from L.A. apartment building by alleged Uber Eats delivery person Security cameras captured the moment a couple’s beloved French Bulldog was stolen from their downtown Los Angeles apartment building by an alleged Uber Eats delivery person.  The dognapping happened Wednesday on the 20th floor of the Park Tower apartments.  Anna Gibson and her boyfriend, Caliber Cleveland, said the 6-month-old Frenchie named Chunky Monkey loved to greet people in the building.  “I was coming down the hall with Chunky. Tujunga man arrested for allegedly tossing and injuring caged puppy A man was arrested for animal cruelty after allegedly tossing and injuring a caged puppy in Tujunga.The suspect was identified as Daniel Arias, 25, by the Los Angeles Police Department.Police were alerted to a “disturbing video showing a suspect throwing a caged puppy over a fence near Renaissance Drive and Cardamine Court" on March 27.Arias was allegedly shown on video exiting his SUV and opening the rear liftgate before grabbing a black dog crate with a two-month-old puppy still inside, police said.Arias then walked to the side with the caged dog and tossed it over a fence, said LAPD. Officers later responded to the area and contacted a resident who had discovered the injured pup along the Tujunga wash.L.A.
