(CNN) — America apparently needs more car seats. So, when Volkswagen unveiled the ID. Buzz, a retro-styled electric van, last year, it noted that the version for the North American market would be longer and would have three rows of seats.North America’s version of the ID. Buzz has now officially been revealed. “Designed and tailor-made for the North American consumer,” in the words of Volkswagen of America chief executive Paolo Di Si, this version is near 10 inches longer than the two-row model. It’s still not huge, though. SARASOTA, Fla. (WSVN) – A Florida woman who had a near-death encounter with an eastern diamondback rattlesnake is now on the road to recovery.Sierra Lynn was hiking near Sarasota when she thought was hit by a tree branch.It turns out it was a poisonous bite from the rattlesnake that sent her into anaphylactic shock within minutes.Lynn was airlifted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital in critical condition and doctors had to give her 58 vials of anti-venom to help her recover.She is now in physical therapy and has a few weeks left in the hospital.Doctors said she will be able to walk again.Death investigation underway after Brightline train hits pedestrian in Pompano Beach

The Broward Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating a fatal collision between a pedestrian and a Brightline train in Pompano Beach that led to road closures.Just before 7:30 a.m. Friday, BSO deputies responded to the northbound lanes of North Dixie Highway, between Northeast Third Street and Northeast Sixth Street. Due to the ongoing investigation, those streets were closed off. Just south of the scene, the Brightline train was also stopped following the collision. As a result of the incident, travelers taking the Brightline train into the Pompano Beach area should expect delays.Drivers have been advised to seek alternate routes. Police in Massachusetts and New Hampshire are asking for the public’s help in finding a 66-year-old man who has not been seen since he stopped at a Costco in Nashua, NH.The Commonwealth Fusion Center (CFC) issued a Silver Alert for Michael Fairbrother on Friday as the Tyngsborough Police Department, along with state and local police in New Hampshire, continue to search for him.According to officials, Fairbrother, who suffers from dementia, was last seen at the Costco Wholesale store on Daniel Webster Highway in Nashua, NH, around 3:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 1.The CFC desribed Fairbrother as having a height of 5’10” and weighing 155 pounds. SAN DIEGO -- A deadly shooting in Barrio Logan has prompted a homicide investigation, authorities said. FOX 5's Elizabeth Alvarez is on scene at the intersection of 16th and Logan Avenue, where there's a heavy police presence and visible crime scene tape. Mayor says Coronado’s approach to homelessness works, but would it across the bay? Several roadways in the area, including portions of 16th and Commercial Streets, are currently blocked off as investigators probe the area. A police officer confirmed to FOX 5 that one person was fatally shot in front of what appears to be a green tent on a sidewalk in the area. That person's identity has not been released, but authorities say the deceased is no longer at the scene.Alvarez says there are several homeless encampments in the area and the shooting appears to have taken place in close proximity to Perkins K-8 School.Details surrounding the deadly shooting are limited at this time.
